The Arno Bay Jetty Cafe is a versatile local spot that blends a relaxed café vibe with a practical takeout experience, perfectly suited for anyone passing through or settling in for a casual meal by the sea. Situated on Creek Road, this place isn’t just about your typical coffee run; it doubles as a bait and general store, making it a convenient hub for locals and visitors gearing up for a day on the water or a stroll along the jetty.

When you step inside or grab a seat nearby, you're likely to notice a friendly atmosphere shaped by both locals and travelers. The café’s coffee—ranging from solid flat whites to well-made almond lattes—draws in early risers and regulars who appreciate a dependable brew without fuss. The casual outdoor seating, with open views and nearby playground, hints at why families and road trippers often make a stop here.

Food-wise, the menu leans heavily on substantial, straightforward meals that fit right into the laid-back coastal lifestyle. The Arno Burger, layered with pineapple, eggs, bacon, and beetroot, stands out as a hefty choice for those wanting a filling bite. Elsewhere, fresh fish options—like battered or crumbed butter fish and various seafood baskets—reflect the town’s fishing roots and appeal to visitors after “fresh from the sea” flavors that don’t overcomplicate things.

The Jetty Cafe is busiest around lunch and brunch hours, especially when family groups or tourists arrive looking for something quick, tasty, and satisfying before heading out to explore Arno Bay. Even on busy days, service tends to be warm and efficient, a combination locals appreciate when dropping in for takeaway coffee or a plate of crispy chips and fish.

Beyond food and drink, the attached general and gift shop offers a bit of everything—from fishing essentials to local chutneys—reinforcing the café’s practical role in the community and making it a convenient one-stop for both meals and supplies.

In summary:

  • Best for casual, hearty meals and reliable coffee in a sea-side town.
  • Popular with families, anglers, and travelers seeking a convenient lunch or takeaway option.
  • Ideal to visit mid-morning through lunchtime; the nearby playground adds an extra draw for those with kids.
  • Atmosphere is informal and friendly, with staff who accommodate both quick stops and sit-down orders smoothly.

Quick stop just to get takeaway coffees on our roadtrip. Very friendly service and delicious coffee! Almond latte and regular flat white was no issue. Looking forward to trying "Roses tomato chutney" we bought when we get home! We will make a note to stop here again when passing through (great playground next door too!)

Well it all started with a friendly phone call about stickers for our van, one thing led to another and we ended up finding the best feed on the eyre peninsula! What a bloody gem. You guys rock and deserve more stars then I can give the burger was buy far the best around! The sweet chilli chicken wrap was amazing as well. Highly recommend everything fresh and how it should be along with great customer service. Happily whacked your sticker on our caravan

It was so good we came back for Mothers Day breakfast. The vibe is good, old-fashioned, friendly service, n their smiles n laughter were infectious. Prices were realistic, n food was tasty n fresh.. ps.. exceptional coffee.

They are super friendly. But we cant go past the most delicious vanilla slice we have ever tasted. The best vanilla slice is a heavenly indulgence that captivates with its perfect balance of textures and flavors. Visually, it features a golden, coconut icing, revealing creamy custard nestled between flaky, crisp puff pastry. Upon the first bite, the contrast is delightful: the satisfying crunch of the pastry gives way to velvety smooth custard, thick yet light. Infused with real vanilla bean, the custard boasts a rich depth, while the sweetness is perfectly balanced. This dessert is a must-try for any vanilla lover!

Such a lovely little café. The staff were so welcoming, friendly and helpful. The menu offers many options for fussy kids and even one vegetarian in our group. There are souvenirs available and a range of fishing gear to satisfy everyone.
